Road work alerts for October

A huge program of work is underway to improve and extend Melbourne’s road and rail network.

The following are the planned closures for tonight and tomorrow around Cranbourne.

Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East

Road closure

Berwick-Cranbourne Road closes eastbound at the intersection of Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, nightly from 8pm to 5am until Friday 20 October, and again between Sunday 22 October and Monday 23 October, for upgrade works.

Detour: Use Childers Street, Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, New Holland Drive, Race Drive, Broad Oak Drive and Berwick Cranbourne Road

Camms Road, Cranbourne

Road closure

Camms Road is closed in both directions at the level crossing, until late November, for level crossing removal works.

Detour Use the South Gippsland Highway, Duff Street and Bourke Road.

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East

Road closure

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road closes in both directions between Berwick-Cranbourne Road and Childers Street, nightly from 8pm to 5am until Friday 20 October, and again between Sunday 22 October and Monday 23 October, for upgrade works.

Detour: Use Childers Street, Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, New Holland Drive, Race Drive, Broad Oak Drive and Berwick Cranbourne Road

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road, Narre Warren

Road closure

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road closes between Fullard Road and the Princes Highway nightly from 8pm to 6am until Saturday 21 October, as part of level crossing removal works.

Further closures will occur nightly until Tuesday 24 October.

During times the road is not fully closed, one lane will be closed in each direction.

Detour: Use the Princes Highway, Hallam Road and Shrives Road, or the Princes Highway, Clyde Road and Greaves Road.
