Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road reclosure planned

Narre Warren and Cranbourne motorists are encouraged to avoid road works over the weekend as part of Level Crossing Removal Project works and other ongoing projects.

Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road in Narre Warren is closed in both directions between the Princes Highway and Fullard Road intersection from 8pm on Friday 27 October to 6am on Monday 30 October while works on the steel bridge section that is being installed over Narre Warren North Road is being carried out as part of the Webb Street level crossing removal.

Motorists should avoid the area where possible, detouring wide via the Monash Freeway, Clyde Road, Greaves Road, Pound Road and Hallam Road.

Significant delays are likely in the area during peak times.

As part of works connecting the new road bridge to Camms Road in Cranbourne and completing the new connection to Fairfield Street, Camms Road is closed in both directions between Bourke Road and Highview Avenue until 1am on Thursday 30 November.

Motorists should allow extra time for the detour taking Bourke Road, Duff Street and South Gippsland Highway.

As part of the Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road upgrade, Cameron Street in Cranbourne will close in both directions at the Berwick-Cranbourne Road intersection from 8pm on Sunday 29 October to mid-January 2024.

Motorists should detour via Sladen Street and the South Gippsland Highway
