The CFA have successfully responded to a house fire in Adelong Court in Berwick earlier this afternoon.
Crews reached the fire, which started at the stove, at 2:49pm, after smoke became visible from nearby roads and communities.
When crews arrived at the home, the single storey brick house was already well alight.
Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police and the relevant power and gas companies also attended.
The incident was under control by 3:16pm, and no threat to the community was posed.
