Pair bogged after allegedly fleeing police

Two people have been arrested after getting bogged while allegedly fleeing from police in Cranbourne.

A Holden Cruz took off from a marked police car on Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road shortly after 2am on 15 November, police say.

Police Air Wing guided officers on the ground in following the Cruz.

Several of the Cruz’s tyres were punctured by police stopsticks.

The driver continued onto Missens Road and tried to drive through temporary fencing but became bogged.

A 28-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, both from Pakenham, tried to run from the scene and were arrested by police.

They were taken into custody for questioning.
