Affordable housing for people aged 55 +

Casey Council is inviting residents aged 55 and over to participate in two community focus group sessions to discuss affordable housing solutions in Casey.

Casey has seen a steady increase in people over 55 accessing homelessness services and support.

The Council would like to better understand the lived experience of older people concerning affordable, alternative, and appropriate housing, including their opinions on potential housing models.

Casey residents are encouraged to participate in a 1.5-hour face-to-face group session in either Bunjil Place or Cranbourne West.

Time: 10am – 11.30am

Morning tea and a $10 Bunjil Place Café gift card will be provided to each participant that attends the session.
