The youth wing of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community teamed up with Casey Council over the weekend as part of Clean Up Australia Day.

Held on Sunday March was a success, with more than one million Australians helping to clean up rubbish from different sites across the country.

A representative of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community said the teachings of their faith emphasised the significance of cleanliness, both spiritually and physically.

“Our involvement in Clean Up Australia Day isn’t just about picking up litter; it’s a tangible demonstration of our dedication to preserving the beauty of our country and fulfilling our duty as responsible citizens,” the representative said.

“By participating in this nationwide effort, we not only uphold teachings of cleanliness but also contribute to the well-being of our communities and environment.”
