Foxborough Glade home on fire

A Narre Warren North home caught fire at roughly 9am this morning, with seven emergency vehicles attending the scene.

The court at Foxborough Glade has been closed off, with CFA issuing a statement that there is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required.

Authorities have been contacted for further details, with updates expected at 10:30am.

UPDATE:

The crew on arrival found the second level of a two-story home, according to a CFA spokesperson, “fully alight”.

“CFA has three units, one from Narre Warren and two from Narre Warren North,” the spokesperson said.

A community information warning was sent out at the time of the fire.

Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police were also at the scene, with investigations still ongoing; no casualties have been reported thus far.

The incident was under control at 9:31am and was deemed safe at 9:59am on 7 May.
