Live music across Casey to jump-start the Winter Arts Festival

As part of the Casey Winter Arts Festival, both Berwick and Cranbourne will host a wide variety of musical experiences for everyone to enjoy.

Called Live and Local, the micro-festivals are something that Casey’s chair of administrators, Noelene Duff PSM said “It’s all about creating a vibrant, connected community”.

“[They] offer a fantastic opportunity for residents to explore diverse musical genres while supporting local artists and venues,” she said.

The first leg will be on Saturday, 6 July and will be running from 10am to 7pm across four venues in the heart of Berwick.

Little by Little Café, Gather: Food Coffee and Co, Thirty Eight O Six Brewing and Lava Lounge will each be hosting a number of performances throughout the day and evening.

Cranbourne is next on the list, with multiple dates set beginning on Friday 12 July from 6pm to 9pm.

The next dates are Saturday 13 July from 11am to 6pm and Sunday 14 July from 11am to 2pm.

Respectively, these music acts will be held across five stages at Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre and The Amazing Grace.

In partnership with Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, the initiative aims to bolster the local live music scene and nurture its growth.

“We are thrilled to bring the community together through the power of live music,” Ms Duff said.

There are no bookings required for the event, and for more information on set times and artists, visit the Casey Live and Local page at www.casey.vic.gov.au/casey-live-local
