Police plea for info after fibre optic damages

Police are appealing for more information after $24,000 worth of damage was done to fibre optic cables in Cranbourne North. (On File)

Police are appealing to the public for more information after investigating an incident that occurred on the corner of South Gippsland Highway and Endeavour Drive, Cranbourne North, on 11 June.

Between 1am and 4am, unknown offenders opened up the Telstra pit and caused over $24,000 worth of damage to fibre-optic cables.

Officials are appealing for any witnesses or dash cam footage that could help assist the investigation.
