Fed Uni’s Berwick open day coming soon

Federation University’s open day is set to begin as the Berwick campus offers tours, live music, interactive information sessions, free food and family entertainment.

To be held on Sunday, 17 August, the visitors will be greeted by a wide range of study options, including nursing, science, teaching, speech pathology, arts, engineering, IT and more.

Federation Uni’s vice-chancellor and president, Duncan Bentley, said that the Open Day “is the perfect opportunity to explore the university’s world-class facilities and discover how we prepare students for meaningful careers”.

In celebration of the university’s new Diploma of Business and Sports Management course (delivered with Melbourne City FC), the club’s A-League Men’s Championship trophy, A-League Women’s Premiership Plate and A-League Championship Trophy will be on display for the visitors.

The day also serves as a chance for prospective students and their families to meet the university’s academics, student clubs, and support representatives, along with current students and a broad range of businesses and industry partners.

“Staff, academics and existing students will be on hand to provide valuable insights into university life, along with a broad range of course options and opportunities to gain hands-on industry experience through our co-op model,” Bentley said.

The Open Day will be held from 9:30am until 2pm at the Berwick campus, located at 100 Clyde Road, Berwick.
