Second man charged after fatal shooting of Narre Warren South man in Ivanhoe

A second man has been charged following the fatal shooting of a Narre Warren South man in Ivanhoe last week.

The 25-year-old, from Narre Warren, was charged on the afternoon of Monday, 8 September, with assisting offender-murder.

He has since appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court, where he was remanded to reappear on 12 January.

These charges follow after the discovery of the 27-year-old Narre Warren South man’s body in the front yard of a Linden Avenue home around 6pm on 2 September.

Investigators also previously charged a 26-year-old Cranbourne man with one count of murder.
