A house fire in Clyde North has left a man fighting for his life and another in critical condition after emergency services responded to an alleged suspicious house fire early this morning.
The fire occurred about 1:45am on 18 December at a Sunburnt Circuit property in Clyde North, with 11 specialised fire vehicles and equipment arriving on scene.
One man was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in a critical condition with life-threatening injuries to his upper and lower body.
Another man was transported by road to the same hospital with serious injuries to his upper body.
A woman was also transported by road ambulance to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition with upper and lower body injuries.
Another woman and child were inside the property at the time of the fire but were not physically injured.
Police have established a crime scene and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains ongoing.
