Cranbourne and Pakenham lines suspended

Buses are replacing trains on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines between Westall and Caulfield, due to an emergency services incident.

Metro Tunnel Services will not run, but trains will continue to run between Flinders Street and Caulfield; and Westall and East Pakenham/Cranbourne with delays likely.

Coaches will replace trains on Traralgon and Bairnsdale V/Line services between Southern Cross and East Pakenham. V/Line trains will continue to operate between East Pakenham and Traralgon and Bairnsdale.

Passengers are asked to check station platform displays, listen for announcements, and to allow extra travel time for their journey.

Motorists are asked to be vigilant for extra pedestrians and buses around train stations on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines.

The Signals team is monitoring conditions in the area and will adjust traffic lights to assist with bus and coach movements.
