Demons set sights on Sandy

The VFL have handed Casey Demons its fixture for the upcoming 2022 season.

Only round 1 has been confirmed as to what time, venue and date the Demons will play, but the opponents for the rest of the bumper 22 rounds are locked in.

In round 1, the Demons will host Sandringham Zebras on Sunday 27 March at 1:05pm.

The Zebras and the Demons were unable to meet last year, meaning the two sides haven’t gone into battle since 2019.

Local products Deakyn Smith, Jimmy Munro and Corey Ellison will no doubt all be in contention for a round 1 selection.
