Big hits provided in the BDTA

After several weeks of wet weather, the Berwick and District Tennis Association (BDTA) came alive on the weekend with a full fixture of matches producing some exciting results.

In the top-flight Osborne Shield some great battles were had with Upper Beaconsfield narrowly defeating Beaconsfield and Harkaway Red surviving a thrilling contest against Harkaway Black.

Meanwhile, Narre Warren proved too strong for Cranbourne.

The BDTA will take an extended break for school holidays before returning to the courts on Saturday 16 July.
