Gators fight hard

THE Fountain Gate Junior Football Club congratulated Rhys Mills-Franklin on playing 50 games. The Gators managed three wins for the week.

In reasonable conditions the Gators had their best game of the year against top team Beaconsfield. The Gators started well, kicking with the aid of the breeze and matching their opponents, but Beaconsfield got on top in the second quarter. The third was a hard-fought quarter with the Gators still trailing. In the last quarter, kicking into the breeze, the Gators kicked four goals in a well fought-out quarter.
