Bowlers blitz for Narre North

AFTER posting 187 runs in difficult conditions the previous week, Narre North’s turf-one bowlers were back to their destructive best, dismissing North Dandenong for 98.
Best of the bowlers was Michael Masterson with 3/16.
Batting again Narre North made a quick fire 158 with Jason Farmer making 74.

Narre North recorded an easy win over Maranatha Methodists.
After dismissing the opposition for 72 Narre North made an impressive 9/284 with junior player Josh Tonna making 63 not out, Dennis Wright 54 and Gopal Pursawalkam 50.

Thanks to an excellent spell of bowling by junior Nathan Pulham, who took 6/14, Narre North dismissed Maranatha Methodists for 113, in reply to its 162 posted last week to record a good win.

Narre North was beaten by Lyndale that made 279 in reply to its 160.
Best of the bowlers was Ben Linberg with 3/75.
In its second innings Narre North made 4/91 with junior player Mathew Lee making a fine 40 not out.

Having dismissed St Bridges/St Louis for 93, Narre North then made 7/209 dec. thanks to good batting from Robby Southall 86 and junior player Nathan Scouler who made 51.

Having contained the Lyndale batsmen to a very gettable 299 of their 40 overs, the Narre North batsmen were unable to continue the good work of the bowlers being dismissed for 114.

Having posted a respectable 8/151 the previous week, Narre North was unable to follow up with the ball with Cranbourne making 6/205 at the end of the second day’s play.

Following the previous week’s good effort in dismissing North Dandenong for 121 with Jordan Osbourne taking 3/18, Narre North worked very hard with the bat, but fell 20 runs short at the end of play.
Best of the batsmen was Mathew Jolme with a fine 40.

Narre North lost its first game of the season, just failing to dismiss Hallam Kalora Park under the target of 100 runs set the previous week, having them eight wickets down when the score was reached.
Best of the bowlers was Stuart Patterson with 3/22.

Narre North put up a great effort in making 8/195 in pursuit of Hallam Kalora Park’s 244.
Best of the Narre North batsmen was Jordan Bulner who made 53 not out.

Having amassed a huge total of 0/200 last week, Narre North’s bowlers continued the great work having Hallam Kalora Park 8/164 at the end of the second day’s play.
Best of the bowlers was Jarrod Cook taking 3/17.

Narre North bowled well and worked hard in the field, but was unable to contain the Endeavour Hills batsman, who finished the second day’s play at 9/174 in reply to Narre North’s 8/134.
