Two more arrested in bikie crackdown

POLICE have arrested two more men as part of an ongoing investigation into the latest bikie violence outbreak.
A 32-year old Hampton Park man with links to the Comancheros was arrested last night, charged with drugs offences and bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court on 23 October.
Police also arrested a 32-year-old Cranbourne man with alleged links to an outlaw motorcycle gang following a raid on a Cranbourne address this morning. He is currently assisting investigators with inquiries.
The latest arrests follow the arrest of eight bikie gang members affiliated with the Comancheros and Hells Angels in raids made by the Echo Taskforce across Melbourne on Tuesday.
The men were charged with drug, weapons and assault-related offences and remanded in custody.
The raids involved a large number of police, including local detectives, members of the Special Operations Group, Operations Response Group, Public Order Response Team and the Critical Incident Response Team.
