THOUSANDS of dollars’ worth of tools and equipment were stolen from a Doveton business this month.
About 8pm on Sunday 17 November, two people driving a dark coloured ute with a bullbar and spotlights, gained access to a factory on Princess Highway, Doveton.
Once inside the premises, a compressor, drop saw and shower screens were taken.
Eight boxes containing wheel rims, with four of them being 18-inch SSAs and the other four 19-inch Ox wheels, worth a total of $2000 were also taken.
The two people also made their way to the office area of the factory, ransacked it and stole two computer monitors worth a total of $4000.
The first offender was wearing a grey hoodie, shorts and white coloured gloves.
The second person put on a stolen shirt belonging to the factory and was wearing a grey hat with and ‘x’ on it.
