Night girls enjoy time out

MORE than 100 Casey women had a night out together for good cause last month.
Cranbourne accounting firm Highview hosted its first Girls Night Out at Village Cinemas, Fountain Gate on Wednesday 27 November.
The event raised more than $2500, which will go towards the Highview team’s fundraising efforts for the Casey Relay for Life.
The Girls Night Out was a sell out, with those who bought tickets being treated to chick flick About Time, a drink, popcorn and raffles and lucky door prizes.
Event organiser Brodie Crowther, Highview’s marketing manager, said it was a great success.
“There’s no better excuse than a fundraiser to get a bunch of lovely ladies together,” she said.
Ms Crowther said Highview was aiming to raise $10,000 for the Casey Relay for Life through staff, client and public donations between now and March next year.
“This event was one of many efforts to hit that target and make a strong positive impact, supporting and raising awareness for the Cancer Council,” she said.
Highview partner Heather Crowther said everyone had a ball at the event.
“Everyone had a great time and it was good to have the opportunity to catch up with so many people all on one night – and to enjoy some popcorn and a great film,” she said.
Donations for the Casey Relay for Life are being accepted at the Highview Cranbourne office at 190 Sladen Street, Cranbourne, until 15 March.
