IF THE old adage of an apple a day keeping the doctor away is true then Eumemmerring Primary School students are in good hands.
The Healthy School Lunch program was launched at the campus last week and an array of fresh fruit was on offer for the children.
Adult Multicultural Education Services (AMES), Social Enterprise Network and Doveton and Eumemmerring Neighbourhood Renewal members helped to set up the catering service.
City of Casey mayor Colin Butler and Parliamentary Secretary for Victorian Communities Lily D’Ambrosio were also at the official launch.
