CREDIT cards stolen from a parked car have been fraudulently used by two youths across south east Melbourne including Berwick, it is alleged.
Transactions totalling more than $1000 were racked up by the male and female offenders in recent weeks.
Police believe the pair made 19 separate transactions during their alleged unlawful spending spree after breaking into a parked car and pinching a wallet filled with credit cards on Tuesday 19 May.
It is unclear where the vehicle was parked and when it was broken into, but police believe the youths racked up the $1047 transaction bill between Berwick and Frankston, hours after allegedly stealing the cards.
Police have released CCTV images of the pair they wish to speak to for allegedly obtaining property by deception during their May spending spree.
The male is described as being Caucasian with a rose or flower tattoo on the inside of his left forearm.
He was passenger of a Silver Mitsubishi Triton with a registration number similar to 1CH1DY during the steal spree.
The female is described as Caucasian, slim to medium build with brown hair.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
