MORE than $3000 is now in the reward fund dedicated to catching the abuser of Bullet the cat.
Reward establisher Michael Ross said the law firm handling the donations had been approached with about 20 requests to give money.
The fund was set up earlier this month in the hope that someone may go to the police with information about the sexual abuse and torture of Bullet.
Bullet’s injuries, which occurred in Berwick some time around 7 December, included a dislocated tail, burnt hair and major internal damage as a result of sexual abuse.
“The balance of the fund has exceeded $3000 with donations from all over Victoria,” Mr Ross said.
Anyone wishing to contribute to Bullet’s reward fund can send a cheque payable to MW Law Trust Account – Bullet, MW Law, P.O. Box 21 (or 526 Whitehorse Road), Mitcham, Vic, 3132.
Anyone with any information about the crime is asked to contact Narre Warren Police on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and can remain anonymous.
