Trampoline flies off

By Cam Lucadou-Wells

Wild winds have launched a home trampoline over a backyard fence, sending it tumbling across open fields in Berwick.
In case anyone’s asking ‘Where’s my trampoline?’, it was strewn against a temporary fence at Alira estate, north of Centre Road on 16 August. And it looks a little worse for wear.
It was lucky no person or object seemed to have been struck in its path, and that there was a fence to halt it, resident Elk Shantelle said.
“The wind was blowing north to south. It must have travelled at least 80 metres.
“The people who lost their trampoline might not know they’ve lost it.”
