Free 5km timed Parkrun

It is a 5km timed run – it’s you against the clock. It’s open to everyone, free, safe and easy to take part in. If you are a new runner, and have not previously registered, please go to the link below to go to the registration page www.parkrun.com.au/register/ and don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode.

Garage Sale

Warneet-Blind Bight Fire Brigade will run the 11th annual community garage sale. With an estimated 50-plus garage sales on the day there will be plenty of bargains up for grabs. Entry is a gold coin donation. A variety of activities include sausage sizzle, coffee van, jumping castle, CFA Community Education Trailer, Casey 360 bus.

Patmos Artists’ Annual Exhibition: Food for Thought

Patmos Artists have been working together under the tutelage of Di Lockwood for almost a decade and meet every Wednesday at the Old Cheese Factory. For their annual exhibition this year, the focus is on food, with most of the works being acrylics on canvas. Within this broad topic you will discover a diverse range of styles and subject matter, all at very reasonable prices.

Antique and collectable fair

The Riding for the Disabled Doveton Myuna Farm centre (RDA) is holding a Berwick Antique and Collectable Fair as a major fund-raiser for the centre. Have treasures valued by well-known valuer David Freeman from noon until 3pm at a cost of $5 per item – no jewellery, coins or stamps.

  • Sunday 15 October, 9am-4pm. Berwick Leisure Centre, 79 Manuka Road, Berwick. Entry to fair is $5, children free. Lunch and refreshments available. Inquiries to 0432 869 215.
