Hear ye, hear ye!

Town crier Robert Wingrave, pictured with councillor Wayne Smith, was called into action for the City of Casey’s final council meeting at its old offices on 18 October.
Cr Smith regaled with tales of the building’s 40-year history – such an irate councillor being locked in a lift during a crucial vote and an embarrassed person who mistook a cupboard for a room’s exit.
The City of Berwick offices first serviced a population of 30,000, now they were serving Casey’s 314,000 residents, chief executive Mike Tyler told the meeting.
The councillors and administration are set to move to the nearby Bunjil Place on 30 October.
