Opening of Bunjil Place

After many years of planning and contruction, the time has come to officially open the newly constructed Bunjil Place this weekend. Casey Council will be joined by Federal La Trobe MP Jason Wood to cut the ribbon to commence the official opening celebrations. Everyone is welcome to visit their new home of entertainment and enjoy free entertainment, food trucks, kids stuff and feature shows.

  • Bunjil Place, Narre Warren. Saturday 28 October, 10am-7pm, and Sunday 29 October, 10am-5pm.


Ageing Positively Festival: Tamil Musical and Dance Performance

A number of musical and dance items in Tamil, playing of Indian classical instruments as individuals and groups (variety entertainment). Serving of Sri Lankan food

  • Saturday 28 October, 10.30am-2.30pm, at 112 High Street, Berwick. Cost is $5.


Ageing Positively Festival: Come and try Lawn Bowls

Come and learn to Lawn Bowl at Berwick Bowling Club. Free coaching and expert advice available on the day and also enjoy a BBQ provided.

  • Sunday 29 October, 10am-2pm, at Edwin Flack Reserve, Berwick. Cost is free.

 


Casey Choir present ’Crash the Party’

The Casey Choir presents its annual fund-raiser. This year the choir is holding a Supper Dance featuring the fabulous band, “Crash the Party”. They are a great dance band presenting popular songs from several decades. A silent auction, raffles and games will also take place on the night. Dessert, tea and coffee provided, BYO nibbles and drinks. Prior booking essential.

  • Saturday 28 October, 7pm, at 2 Cardinia Street, Berwick. Cost: $35 per person.
