COMBINED Probus Club of Narre Warren members were all smiles last week as their group celebrated its fifth birthday with a special luncheon in Berwick.
The new executive of the club also took office at the start of April with John Uren elected as president, Betty Boal as senior vice-president and Graham Bull filling the junior vice-president post.
The club is a mixed group of retirees and invites anyone interested, especially those who have retired recently, to attend a forthcoming meeting.
Club members enjoy a wide range of activities from day trips and overnight trips to a walking group, morning coffee and art and craft appreciation groups.
A group of 18 members and friends also recently toured New Zealand for 17 days.
The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month at Castello’s Berwick Springs Hotel at 10.30am. A travel expert will be the guest speaker at the group’s next meeting on 20 May.
