Right: Noeline Brown, Australian Ambassador for Ageing, will be the guest speaker at the City of Casey’s Active through the Arts event on Tuesday 7 October as part of Casey’s Ageing Positively Festival.TO CELEBRATE Victorian Seniors Week, the City of Casey is holding the Ageing Positively Festival from Sunday 5 October to Sunday 19 October.
Local groups and organisations are working in partnership with the council to deliver a variety of events for the older community including musical entertainment, information sessions, health and well-being sessions and arts and crafts programs.
The main event, Active through the Arts, will be held on Tuesday 7 October at Arthur Wren Hall in Hampton Park and is free to Casey residents.
The event will feature a range of activities including Bollywood dancing, digital photography classes and woodworking. Guest speaker at the event will be Noeline Brown, the Australian Ambassador for Ageing.
