POLICE are on the hunt for thirsty thieves who broke into a Berwick café, stealing $500 worth of alcohol, on 6 September.
Detective Sergeant Garry Kear said the thieves smashed through a glass door to enter Primary Café on Peel Street in Berwick. Once inside, police said the offenders stole a large amount of alcohol, including bottles of Vodka and Jim Beam. Det Sgt Kear said security discovered a broken window on the premises.
