Hot goods recovered

FOOTSCRAY detectives have raided a Narre Warren North address and recovered stolen goods worth about $60,000, including 50 cartons of cigarette lighters.
Detectives said the goods were part of a heist of 480 cartons of cigarette lighters, valued at about $500,000, stolen from a container at Footscray two weeks ago.
Police also recovered 30 cartons of cigarette lighters from a Brunswick address last week, as well as men’s after-shave and perfume valued at $300,000.
Police are urging anyone with information or who may have been offered these items at a discounted price to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
