With lockdown easing, Provenance Artists is opening up bigger and better.
From Friday 22 October, the group is inviting those who want to start painting, as well as artists looking to take their talents to the next level, to join in on painting classes at a new, larger studio.
And there’s another reason to get excited, with the artists gearing up for the 22nd Great Art Show, to be held at Nossal High School from 8-10 April 2022.
Four new workshops will begin next week with people all levels of artistic ability invited to grab their paintbrush and join in.
All workshops are limited to five artists only so they can receive individual attention.
The workshops are:
– Painting for Pleasure, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am-2pm: painting for pleasure in oils, acrylic, watercolour and scratchboard. Classes are led by Calvin, an internationally trained and recognised artist who promises to take your art to the next level to exhibitions and hopefully, sales. Classes only $25
– Beginners’ workshop, Fridays 10am-2pm: Two free workshops and three for $15. These classes are for adults who want to start painting again or have never painted and are led by Deborah Polman, a leading Victorian artist. These workshops are sponsored by the City of Casey Arts Development Fund.
– Specialist workshops for artists, Sundays 10am-2pm: to help artists enhance and extend their skills and techniques. These specialised workshops are led by internationally recognised leading artist Zoe Panagiotopoulos and are only $35.
Workshops are held at the enlarged studio at 2 Merrowland Avenue, Cranbourne North.
