THE Narre Warren SES unit was placed on stand-by last week as heavy rains swept through the state.
Narre Warren SES controller Tim Howell told the News it was a quiet night for the crews, receiving only two call-outs in the City of Casey on Thursday night.
“We had two jobs in Cranbourne and both were small floods,” he said.
“The city’s western suburbs copped the brunt of the big storm,” Mr Howell said.
