SES support

THE Narre Warren SES unit has received five rechargeable torches and a laptop as part of AAMI’s annual sponsorship of the Victoria SES.
Since 2003, AAMI has contributed more than $2 million in a program that allows the SES units to buy rescue equipment.
“Whether they are dealing with flooding, storms or a road accident, it’s in all of our best interests to have our VICSES units equipped with the tools they need when dealing with the hundreds of accidents or emergencies they attend throughout the year,” AAMI executive manager sponsorships John Bennetts said.
“The funding allows the VICSES to buy essential rescue equipment used to carry out their often life saving work. We are pleased to continue to support the VICSES, and know that the equipment will be a major boost to the Narre Warren unit’s capacity to respond to emergencies.”
VICSES chief executive Mary Barry thanked AAMI for its continued support.
“We are pleased to be able to have a strong partnership with AAMI that assists each unit with their individual equipment needs,” she said.
