Expo offers safety education

People gathered to find out about community safety in their area at the Safety Expo at Selandra Community Hub in Clyde on Saturday, 17 November.

There were activities for the whole family as well as professional advice to become better prepared for any emergency or disaster.

The community had the opportunity to meet local emergency service heroes and visit interactive displays.

Children were encouraged to bring their favourite teddy bear to the teddy bear hospital were nursing students tended to sniffles, coughs and colds of sick teddies in need.
