The Green Living in Casey Expo was a thriving event in the Bunjil Place Plaza on Saturday 17 November afternoon, with guest speakers, workshops, author talks, cooking demonstrations and market stalls.

Children, and those young at heart, got the chance to sit in the drivers’ seat of a recycling truck and learn more about waste in the City of Casey.

The winners of council’s Waste Wise video competition were also announced.

The community also got the chance to hear about sustainable living options, including the boomerang bags.
