Demon delight for students

Four players from Melbourne Football Club (MFC) inspired students at Narre Warren North Primary School on Wednesday 13 February.

As part of the clubs Community Camps Program the school was lucky enough to have a visit from MFC players Oscar McDonald, James Harmes, Guy Walker and Joel Smith.

Students from year’s four to six were invited to be a part of the session, which demonstrated MFC’s ongoing commitment to support grassroots players and connect with local schools.

“The students loved the session, were totally engaged and learnt so much from interacting with the players,” Narre Warren North Primary School physical education teacher Vanessa Wilson said.

The session started with a group warm-up, but unfortunately, due to heavy rain the program was moved inside.

“It did not impact the effectiveness of the program as the players delivered a question and answer session which inspired, challenged and excited our students,” Ms Wilson said.

“It was a fabulous session and we hope to see the playing group again real soon.”
