Mums were treated to a special day of activities at Narre Warren South’s Hillsmeade Primary School as children put on a Mother’s Day celebration on Friday 10 May.
Family, fun and laughter were the keys to a wonderful ‘Mother’s and Special Others’ event, Grade One teacher Sarah McGrath said.
“Despite the cold weather, the students at Hillsmeade Primary School didn’t fail to entertain their loved ones by gathering for a group dance and other special activities,” she said.
Principal Jodie Bray said the community spirits were high as the students and their guests enjoyed a delicious morning tea with the opportunity to have some fun on the dance floor.
Students also invited visitors into the classroom to showcase their learning.
