YOUNG local talent was on show last weekend at the Berwick RSL.
The RSL held a community musical event ‘Berwick’s got Talent’ for 60 youths and their families that gave the youths the opportunity to showcase their musical and creative talents and in turn build their confidence and self-esteem. In a performance that lasted more than two hours, students aged between nine and 18 years old showcased their talents in a combination of musical and vocal excellence. Spokeswoman for the event Aileen A’Vard says that the concert was a very successful and enjoyable occasion.
“It is our intention to make this an annual event,” Mrs A’Vard said.
