Students boosted by the ex-factor

THREE former Eumemmerring College students headed back to school last week to share their secrets of success with current day pupils.
Casey Scorpions vice-captain David Biagi, dance choreographer Darren Tyler and second year bio technology university student Vanisha Kumar relived the days of the old school yard at the college’s Fountain Gate campus.
The Back to School Day initiative is part of Education Week celebrations and involves schools inviting former students who have been successful in their studies and careers.
Mr Biagi, a 2001 Eumemmerring school captain, spoke about his involvement at Casey Scorpions and also conducted a football clinic for a year 10 girls PE class.
Students were equally impressed with the talents of Mr Tyler who is performing in the Melbourne run of Miss Saigon.
Ms Kumar also shared her knowledge of various topics with current day Eumemmerring students as she toured the science department.
The three guests were also presented to students at a special assembly and were interviewed by the school captains and vice-captains.
