THIEVES broke into and stole several items from the City of Casey Operations Centre in Narre Warren.
The Vesper Drive property was raided sometime between 10 August and 13 August after the lock on the gates was cut off.
Police said a trailer with the word Bunnings painted on both sides was hooked up to a car stolen during the burglary.
The trailer was filled with tools and accessories used by Casey officials during major events, police said.
Narre Warren Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Garry Kear said the depot had been the target of several burglaries over recent years.
A Casey spokeswoman said council was currently in the process of improving security at the site.
