CASEY’s public transport issues are set to be aired.
On Monday, a public meeting will be held in Narre Warren, to discuss the transport issues facing Casey residents.
Organised by local Liberal party candidates, the meeting will be attended by opposition transport spokesperson Terry Mulder and other public transport officials.
Narre Warren South Liberal candidate Michael Shepherdson and Narre Warren North candidate Mick Morland have organised the event.
Mr Shepherdson urged residents to attend. He said the meeting would discuss road and public transport issues as well as the need for more bicycle paths and sound barriers in Casey.
He said members of the Cranbourne and Pakenham bicycle users group have been invited to speak and officials from train operator Connex, VicRoads and local bus companies had been invited to attend.
The meeting will start at 7pm at the City of Casey Offices, Magid Drive, Narre Warren. For further details, contact Michael Shepherdson on 0407 335 302.
