Feet down for funds

NARRE Warren South P-12 College students paved the pavement for a cause recently.
The school took part in the Golden Circle School Fun Run and raised more than $4600 – money which will go towards college resources. Students sought sponsorship from family, friends and members of the local community in order to raise the much-needed funds. Aachal Singh raised $161 and took out the award for the school’s highest fundraiser.
Fun Run organiser Peter Kromilidis said he was extremely proud of the way the students rallied behind the event. The program aims to provide an avenue for schools and community groups to raise money and at the same time encourage students to participate in healthy outdoor activities.
