THE Battle of the Bands concept will hit the stage later this month.
Hillsmeade Primary School is taking its school concert, titled The Battle of the Bands, to the Frankston Arts Centre on Monday 29 August.
The concert, involving students from grades 26, includes nearly 460 students and all of them will be on stage together for the grand finale.
The play is an original story about two groups of friends with very different personalities deciding that they want to compete in the Battle of the Bands competition. The two groups realise they need to join forces to have a good chance of winning.
Each grade will perform its own item ranging from old sea shanties to rock ‘n’ roll from every decade since the 1950s and there’s even an original composition created on computer software.
To book tickets, call the school on 9704 6313.
