CAMERON Sinclair began riding motorbikes on his Pearcedale property at the age of five.
The 22-year-old freestyle rider has certainly graduated and now flies through the air all over the world with the Crusty Demons tour.
However this Anzac Day, for one of the few times in his riding career, Sinclair will get to show his ability in front of family and friends when he takes to the dirt in the Yamaha Australian Open of Mini Super Cross at Frankston BMX Track.
“I’m really looking forward to performing close to home, especially knowing my family and friends will be there too,” he said.
The Mini Super Cross event is the brainchild of Cameron’s brother, Mick, and will feature a number of races throughout the day, as well as trade stalls and giveaways.
The major highlight of the day will be Sinclair and Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams, also from the Crusty Demons tour, performing massive jumps in the freestyle expression session.
“I will be doing a few back-flips and other tricks and we have also prepared a 75-foot jump which I will be jumping over,” said Sinclair.
While Sinclair enjoys performing close to his home, he will soon embark on a USA and European tour that will see him ride in front of huge crowds in world-class stadiums.
The action at Frankston will start at 1.30pm and continue on throughout the day.
Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for children and a family ticket is $40.
