HALLAM Valley Primary School has won the girls netball and boys football competitions in the district Lightning Premiership day at Toomuc Reserve, Pakenham.
Oatlands, Pakenham Hills, St Kevin’s and Fountain Gate primary schools and Beaconhills College also took part in the round robin competition.
The students competed in netball, T-ball, kickball, football, and soccer.
Oatlands won the T-ball competition and was runners-up in mixed netball and boys football.
Pakenham won the mixed netball final.
Oatlands teacher Debbie Houghton said the kids had a good day.
“The kids love it, they enjoy it and really get a lot out of it,” she said.
“It gets them active and it’s good to get together with the other schools in the area.”
A Lightning Premiership day is held each summer and winter.
The schools compete in a home and away competition throughout the term.
