Division 4 played at Chelsea and collapsed over the concluding ends to see a win turn to a loss.
Andrew Brandolin, Lance Davis, Ken Cobden and skip Geoff Ladner dropped a five on the last end to go down by six shots (21-27).
Charles Hose, Fred McBrian, Geoff Ampt and Skip Bob Woodfield lost seven of the last eight ends to have an 11-shot lead whittled down to six (24-18).
Les Unwin, Alan Wilcock, Robert Naismith and skip Graham Slight had their lead cut from 19 shots down to six (29-23).
Ray Wood, Paul Barna, David Hendrie and skip Neville Hendrie lost 12 shots on the last six ends to lose by 11 (18-29).
Division 4: Hampton Park 4-92 lost to Chelsea 14-97
The visiting Cranbourne side showed Cranbourne (7) players how to play on their own green by winning on three rinks.
Pat Moevasa, Allan Unwin, Ray Leggett and skip Robb Woff lost 12 shots on the last four ends to go down by nine (25-34).
Gerry Cox, Bill Tannahill, Allan March and skip Keith Damon had a good second half to win by 14 shots (29-15).
Keith McCarthy, Mark Paton, George Pettitt and skip Bill Webb were unable to get into the game losing by 13 shots (15-28).
A seven-end slump by Vince Kovacic, Greg Pentland, Eddie Graafsma and skip Bob Nicol saw a win slip away by four shots (20-24).
Division 7: Hampton Park 2-89 lost to Cranbourne 16-101.
In the VLBA, our ladies had to settle for a draw when they played Narre Warren at home.
The side in the SDELBA lost to Mulgrave CC by six shots overall.
