A BERWICK childcare centre turned yellow last week and raised $253 for cancer research as part of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
All 42 children, aged from six weeks to six years, and staff at Littleones Childcare Centre dressed in yellow and donated a gold coin on the centre’s first yellow themed fundraising day.
Littleones Childcare Centre director Leah Malic was thrilled with the response from the fundraising efforts.
She said the children played with yellow play dough, sang yellow themed songs and munched on yellow coloured foods such as bananas, macaroni cheese and jelly.
