NARRE Warren played Parkfield in Turf One with last year’s fifth-placed side, Narre Warren, taking on the sixth-placed side.
Parkfield won the toss and batted first on a deck that looked conducive to runs.
Narre Warren limited Parkfield’s scoring before John Simpson (1/25 off 10 overs) dismissed O’Hare for 1.
Dave Wheeler economical, and with Chris Jarrett (2/14 off nine) joining in the party the Narre Warren bowling partnerships were going well.
Jarrett dismissed Dabrera and key player Dale Harris, and Parkfield was in bother at 3/37.
When Shane Simpson joined his brother in the wickets column and picked up Alles, before Dwayne Scott took his first for the day, Parkfield was deep in trouble at 6/83.
A 49-run partnership would follow, but that was brought to an end with the reintroduction of Wheeler, who picked up both set batsmen, leaving Parkfield at 8/135.
Scott (2/29 off 18) took his second for the day and Wheeler (3/44 off 18.3) picked up his third to finish the Parkfield innings at 144.
Narre Warren had 11 overs to face and came out unblemished with captain Wendell Perumal on 9 and Matt Darvell on 12.

Parkfield won the toss and sent Narre Warren into the field.
Steady bowling saw Parkfield all out for 168, with the bowling honours shared between Steve Woodward (5/23), Travis Brinkmann (2/51), and Chris Edwards, Colin Perumal and Brendan Jarman with one each.
Narre Warren batted through 10 overs to be 1/40 with Shaun van Dam out for 30.

Playing Hallam at Frog Hollow, Narre Warren won the toss and batted.
Narre Warren lost a couple of wickets early before Paul McMahon and Mick Teeuw (17) put on 51 before Teeuw was run out.
McMahon combined with Daniel Orchard for another 42-run partnership and was finally dismissed for a well-made 65.
After 54 overs Narre Warren was all out for 160.
At the end of the 18 overs Hallam was 1/56.

Best of the bats were Drew Clarke (49), Wayne Martin (31), and Gerald McKee (18).

Playing Lynbrook at Sweeney Reseerve, Narre Warren won the toss and decided to bat, losing the first wicket at 57 runs to be all out for 264.
Peter van Dam top scored with 34, with Shane Johnston 30 not out, David Orchard 25, Vic Bradshaw 22 and Andrew Waller 25.
Lynbrook batted for 12 overs to be 5/17 with Greg Sealby taking 2/6 and Johnston 3/10.

Endeavour Hills who elected to bat, and home team Narre Warren got off to a steady start with the ball but fell apart.
The outstanding bowler was Matt Brew (1/41 off eight overs) as the opposition made 270.
In reply, Narre Warren made 159 with Brew (46), Jason Orchard (21) and Adam Hill (29) all contributing.

Narre Warren was asked to bowl in its match against St Mary’s.
As in the three previous games, bowling was tight and was well supported by solid fielding, with St Mary’s out for 93 in the 44th over.
Shannon Marrell took four wickets and 13-year-old Dylan Quirk was outstanding as wicketkeeper.

Playing Noble Park, Narre Warren lost the toss and bowled.
Opening bowlers Kris Merz and Jordan Toole restricted the opposition to 0/11 after 10 overs.
Bowling changes by captain John Mentiplay brought instant success, with Travis Walker taking 4/20, Mentiplay 3/12 and Jack Spreckley 1/8 to have Noble Park all out for 61.
With 21 overs to play, Narre Warren reached 1/58 with the not out batsmen Toole (17) and Jordan Muzzolini (25).

Playing Buckley Ridges, Narre Warren was sent in to bat, and did not lose a wicket until the 19th over.
Great batting by Luke Clarke (38), Nick Shirt (37) and Lowindu Dharmaratna (29) put Narre Warren in a position to post a high score with plenty of overs left.
However the team lost 6/20 to finish on 168.

On a slow ground, the players made 7/209 from the 40 overs.
Good batting performances included Mitchell Dempster (26 not out), Ryan Quirk (27 not out), Tom Dovaston (29 not out), Aaron Gonzales 20, Veran Wangisundara (24 not out) and Tom Spreckley, who hit 18 from nine balls.

Playing Berwick at Sweeney Reserve, Narre Warren loss the toss and was sent in to the field as Berwick made 49 after 24 overs.
Best of the bowlers were Cameron Marshall (0/4 off two overs), Cameron Fernando (1/3 from two) and Callum Sigaras (2/6 off three).
In reply, Narre Warren finished on 89, with Billy Spreckley scoring 8 not out, captain Joshua West making 7 not out and Caleb Johnston 5 not out.

Narre Warren Grey played its first game, after byes in the first two rounds, against Narre Warren White.
Grey batted first, with everyone contributing.
In the field, Grey put in a good bowling effort and everyone fielded well getting a number of run outs.
