RATHER than be stuck inside during the school holidays this winter, Casey teenagers can feast in a Winter Wonderland in the city.
This year the City of Casey is offering a trip to the Snow Dome at the Docklands as part of its upcoming school holiday program.
Activities at the Snow Dome include carnival rides, making snowballs and firing them at snowmen targets, watching ice sport and participating in a range of activities in the fully interactive artificial snowfield.
The City of Casey’s Teenage School Holiday Program runs from 2 to 23 July and includes many other winter fun activities.
Casey youth and family services manager Lee McIntosh highlighted the Dandenong Rangers basketball clinic, which will be taken by qualified coaches and experienced players of the team.
She said the Boox Box workshop was also a great event to develop scriptwriting skills.
“Casey’s Teenage School Holiday Program has something for everyone and it continues to be popular amongst young people looking to meet new people, have fun and try something new,” Ms McIntosh said.
Bookings have opened and places are strictly limited.
All activities are fully supervised, and behaviour standards apply.
